Senior Support Worker Jobs in England Colchester 2024
Our guiding principle is that every young person is capable of transformation, engagement, and success, which will enable them to make more favorable decisions regarding their lives and futures. After a child leaves our service, we strive to have equipped them with the means to manage risk, assist in the development of self-esteem and competence, and assist them in achieving stability.
The trauma-informed approach utilizes a relationship-based, “whole team” strategy to assist the young person in attaining enhanced emotional stability and behavioral control by providing a secure setting in which to investigate, comprehend, and cultivate increased resilience.
The daily ethos of the residences is founded upon pro-social modeling, early intervention, problem-solving, and social skills. It is further emphasized through the promotion of respect, positive reinforcement, and positive role modeling.
We consider direct intervention with children and adolescents to have two primary objectives: first, to resolve prevailing concerns regarding harm and danger; and second, to tackle fundamental vulnerabilities that underlie the issue.
