We are seeking a personable and enthusiastic individual to join the front-of-house team at our historic tea rooms, which have been in operation for over 160 years. King Henry VIII originally named the tea rooms after the renowned tarts we bake. If you lack experience in a fast-paced restaurant or a comparable challenging environment, you must possess exceptional intelligence and the ability to quickly acquire new skills. The typical responsibilities of the position include the following: the preparation of orders for the shop and restaurant, the serving of customers, the cleansing and clearing of tables, the washing of dishes, and the occasional provision of bed and breakfast room services.

We are accessible to the public daily, with weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and weekends from 9:00 a.m. We are interested in your personality as well as your exceptional communication and customer service skills, which will guarantee that our customers receive the highest quality of service and that all employees appreciate their work. Working in a fast-paced, friendly environment, our colleagues at Front and Back enjoy a generous aggregate net pay that includes the base salary and a portion of the DSC/normal service charge. The ultimate aggregate rate band (which includes the DSC normal estimate) will be contingent upon suitability and experience.

The position is available on Saturdays and Sundays for 15 to 20 hours per week. However, we may also consider offering weekday duties to the appropriate candidate, provided that they are interested.
