Job Description:
As a Registered Staff Nurse within the Chronic Pain Service, you will have the chance to provide high-quality care to patients with chronic pain. The key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the safe and effective care of patients attending the X-ray unit for pain management treatments.
- Assisting Consultants in Pain Management with pain management treatments and procedures.
- Managing the unit’s daily operations, including patient admissions and discharge processes.
- Demonstrating excellent communication skills during the patient admission process.
- Ensuring radiation safety by wearing a lead apron during X-ray treatments.
- Pain management experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications:
- Registered Adult Nurse with the National Nursing Council (NMC).
- Evidence of the necessary competence to revalidate in accordance with NMC guidelines.
Experience:
- 12-18 months post-registration experience in acute secondary NHS care.
