Responsibilities and Duties of a Swimming Pool Cleaner:

• Conduct a comprehensive test of the swimming pool’s water quality and chemical level every two hours for a period of 15 days. The report must be verified by the technical superintendent or chief engineer and submitted to the health and safety officer by the end of the day in order to be uploaded to the DM website.
• Perform the scheduled deep cleaning of the pools and verify that the tiles are in excellent condition.
• Stores and transports hazardous compounds.
• Cleans the area around the suite, restrooms, and swimming pools, as well as removes debris.
• Diagnoses, repairs, and maintains the water systems, filter systems, and guest room/main swimming pools. Additionally, you are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the pool pump chambers.
• Ensure that the pool’s chemical balance is maintained.
• As per the norms and regulations of the Department of the Environment, the pH and Chlorine values are maintained to ensure the quality of the water.
• Use the appropriate chemicals and cleansers to maintain the pool and all water features.
• Upkeep the filters and compressors in the pool.
• Clean the deck and perform other maintenance duties in the pool area.
• Assess and repair non-functioning apparatus or equipment in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner in response to swimming pool-related work orders.
• Performs the repair and maintenance of mechanical and electrical apparatus.
• Stores and transports hazardous compounds.
• Utilizing chemicals such as chlorine to conduct routine water cleansing.
• Conducting routine pH balance and water quality assessments for recreational pools.
• Evaluates the chemical concentrations in guest room swimming pools and other water systems and implements modifications as necessary.
• Prepares daily and 15-day records and maintains manual or automated records of all activities.
• Cleans the area around the suite, restrooms, and swimming pools, as well as removes debris.
• Conducts equipment inspections and operations to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly.
• Maintaining and cleaning swimming pool filtration systems.
• Maintenance and servicing of the solar heating system to ensure its optimal performance.
