The Work You Will Do:
You will provide exceptional customer service and high-quality, compassionate care to your clients one-on-one in their private residences as a Personal Caregiver. Activities of daily living and personal care are examples of such duties. The provision of homemaking services, including laundry, cleaning, cooking, and general domestic management. Providing companionship and/or accompanying clients to community events and activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver homemaking services encompassing general household administration, cooking, cleaning, and laundry, among others.
- Accompany clients to community events and activities or provide companionship.
- Deliver personal care services according to the care plan’s instructions.
- Ensures that clients’ physical, spiritual, and emotional needs are met to the fullest extent feasible.
- Assist the client with activities of daily life that are specific to their needs (personal assistance tasks).
- Execute client-specific, specialized procedures for which current competency and recognized training can be provided.
- Observe and record client conditions according to company policies; notify the Office or the immediate supervisor of any anomalous occurrences or changes in the client’s condition.
- Comprehends and applies practices for infection prevention.
- Engage in continuous internal and/or external activities related to continuing education.
- Observe the policies and procedures of Bayshore.
- Engage in quality-related activities and initiatives for ongoing development by the Quality Management System of the organization.
- Engages in proactive health and safety initiatives while carrying out all assigned responsibilities. Responsible for notifying the immediate supervisor of any concerns or hazards about health and safety.
- Preserves the privacy of client and company data and restricts discussions to authorized Bayshore personnel.
