Guest Environment Experts guarantee that the hotel’s environments facilitate an exceptional guest experience by managing guest requests, replenishing housekeeping trolleys, cleaning rooms and common areas, and fulfilling other duties.
To achieve success, it is essential to adhere to a few key factors, regardless of one’s position: sustaining quality standards, adhering to company policies and procedures, maintaining a secure work environment, and ensuring that one’s personal appearance, communication, and uniform are professional.
Guest Environment Experts are perpetually on the move, engaging in various duties, including the movement, lifting, carrying, pushing, and placement of objects weighing less than 50 pounds without assistance. They may be required to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Guest Environment Experts must consistently perform these tasks (and any other reasonable tasks as requested) to ensure the hotel’s smooth operation and the satisfaction of its visitors.
The hourly wage for this position is between $24.80 and $24.80. This position provides life insurance, disability insurance, accident insurance, adoption expense reimbursement, paid parental leave, a 401(k) plan, a stock purchase plan, Marriott property discounts, commuter benefits, an employee assistance plan, and childcare discounts.
Additionally, it provides coverage for medical, dental, and vision care; healthcare flexible spending accounts; dependent care flexible spending accounts; life insurance; and accident insurance. Terms and conditions may apply to benefits, such as, but not limited to, eligibility, enrollment, qualifying period, contribution, benefit limits, election changes, benefit exclusions, and others. Employees are entitled to a minimum of seven holidays annually and accumulate a balance of 0.04616 PTO for each hour worked.
