Responsibilities

Departmental:

• Ensure that all garments are treated in accordance with their specific care instructions by operating dry-cleaning machines and handling chemicals safely.
• Before processing, identify and pre-spot discoloration on garments using the appropriate products and methods to prevent damage.
• Achieve optimal results without sacrificing fabric quality by employing the appropriate washing and drying programs for various types of garments.
• Perform hand laundering of delicate garments as required, adhering to the specified care instructions.
• Ensure that each garment complies with the hotel’s quality standards by inspecting it both before and after cleansing. If any stains are unable to be removed, provide visitors with an information card.
• Assist in the pressing and completing of garments to ensure a professional appearance and a high level of service.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring that all equipment is secure to operate and well-maintained.

Colleague Relations:

• Encourage collaboration, cultivate a positive work environment, and promptly resolve any conflicts or concerns that may arise.
• Assist and work in conjunction with the laundry valet and other team members to guarantee the smooth administration of laundry services.
• Provide continuous guidance, feedback, and performance evaluations to ensure that the service provided meets the highest standards.

Guest Relations:
