Duties & Responsibilities:
- Arrange an international itinerary and travel abroad to engage with potential international students to advocate for undergraduate programs.
- As the primary point of contact for follow-up inquiries and information, assist international students in navigating the application process.
- Establish partnerships with global agents and serve as their primary point of contact.
- Conduct virtual webinars with potential international students.
- Conduct communication regarding admission and/or related matters with prospective, applicants, and admitted students through email, Skype/webinars, telephone, and/or in-person meetings.
- Instigating and responding to correspondence and inquiries from agents, prospective students, and their families ensures effective follow-through on communication plans.
- Familiar with the admission criteria and undergraduate programs.
- Compile annual international territory reports and other regular updates for the recruitment territories that have been assigned.
- Collaborate with the Enrollment Management Communications and Marketing team to create a communication strategy tailored to the needs of international audiences following the recruitment process.
- Travel internationally for approximately two months.
Relationships:
- Coordinate contracts with third-party international recruitment agents. Meeting with agents overseas, conducting virtual sessions, and maintaining communication via email and phone are among the daily responsibilities.
- Manage the pool of applicants received from third-party international recruitment agents. This encompasses the following: the proper coding of all applicants for follow-up, the communication of application status updates to the agents, and the monitoring of applications from the point of admission to enrollment.
- Identify prospective relationships and agreements with educational institutions, governmental authorities, and corporations, with an emphasis on the institution’s benefits.
- Develop relationships with educational professionals who work with international students and current and potential partners.

- Understanding of the degree programs offered by A-State
- Understanding of registration procedures, academic credit, and course equivalents/substitutions

- In order to fulfill multiple responsibilities, this position necessitates frequent travel, including weekends, evenings, and nights.
- For each year, it is necessary to travel abroad for two months.
Minimum Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a discipline that is closely related to Business Administration, Marketing, Counseling, International Education, International Business, or International Affairs.
One year of experience in the related field of working with international student programs and/or international students in an academic setting is preferred. Exposure to public speaking and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse cultural and social contexts.
