You will be responsible for ensuring that patients who visit our X-ray unit receive safe and effective care, while also assisting our Consultants in Pain Management with pain management treatments. To safeguard yourself from radiation, it is necessary to don a lead apron.

Additionally, you will be responsible for the unit’s daily operations and the admissions and discharge procedures. Throughout the admission process of our patients, you will exhibit exceptional communication skills. While it is not mandatory, it would be advantageous to possess experience in pain management.

Qualifications

  • Adult nurses are registered with the National Nursing Council (NMC).

Experience

  • 12-18 months of post-registration experience in acute secondary NHS care contexts.
  • Demonstration of ongoing professional development and competence, as well as career advancement and successes in the current role.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment, including the ability to supervise and assign tasks to others, as well as working independently and as part of a team.
